Comment of the Week!

Every Saturday, we're going to pick one comment from the previous week to be our -- you guessed it -- Comment of the Week. The author of that special comment will get to pick a prize from THE VAULT as a thank you for helping to create a fun and fabulous community here at YA Confidential.

This week's winner is:

MARSHA SIGMAN!

You may call me Slick.  Malicia Slick. (It was either that or Svetlana McPerky…don’t ask.)

While your mission may appear difficult at times…it isn’t mission impossible.  "Difficult" should be a walk in the park for you.

Her reasons for winning were three-fold: a) Malicia Slick is a kick-ass, onamonapoetic codename, b) the story behind Svetlana McPerky is one we REALLY want to hear, and c) we're so appreciative of the (theme-appropriate) encouragement she gave us!

Here's a little bit more about Marsha, who's just as cool as her awesome comment suggests:

Code Name: Malicia Slick
Legend: Once engaged in a fistfight with a girl over a boy they both wanted.  Soon realized she did not know how to fight and those Karate Kid moves don't actually work when someone is pulling your hair.  They became best friends instead and dumped the boy.

She wears skirts and masquerades as a corporate professional during the day but at night changes into torn rock t-shirts and boxers to write Paranormal/Urban Fantasy YA stories where the girl always wins in fistfights and rescues dudes in distress.
Because someone needs to keep it real.

You can get to know Marsha better at her blog or on Twitter. Maybe if you ask really nicely, she'll even let you borrow the copy of The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer that she just won from THE VAULT!

Want to win one of our amazing ARCs/signed books and be featured here on YA Confidential? All you have to do is comment! We look forward to getting to know all of you!
