This week we asked:

What's one of your most embarrassing memories from high school?

And the winner is:

With this comment:

In tenth grade, my family moved to South Africa, and my parents enrolled me (though I'm Jewish) in a Protestant school for girls. During morning prayers, on my second or third day there, I desperately needed to pee. It seemed impossible to walk out in the middle of the prayer. I didn't know if it was allowed, and I had no idea even where the nearest toilets were. I was afraid that the prefects (those students responsible for discipline) would yell at me if I got up, or that a teacher would think I was disrespecting the prayers and punish me. I held the pee for the longest time till I couldn't anymore.
But no, this is not a story of peeing in my pants at age sixteen in front of the whole school :)
I started crying so hard (you know, the hiccuping, snot-spewing kind), that a prefect noticed me, took me outside, and, after I managed to explain to her my predicament, escorted me to the bathroom. She was nice to me, which made me cry more, and I was so upset over the entire ordeal that the school ended up sending me home.
Of course, I did have to go back there again the next day....

So glad you didn't *actually* pee your pants, Sigal. :)

Thanks to everyone who commented! Sigal, drop us an email (yaconfidential [at] gmail [dot] com) and let us know what Vault item you'd like!
